Jupiter in Tenth House

Jupiter: If Jupiter is lord of the 10th, or is in the 10th, and is received or dignified and in sect, it shows those who gain high social status and are ethical with good morals. This is an excellent position for those involved in law or the courts and sometimes indicates those who become trial judges. According to Paulus: "...it shows those who become illustrious, magnificent, splendid, eminent, those who are trusted with the affairs of kings, or the great, notable and famous". [50] This is generally a very fortunate position for career as it shows a swift promotional pattern and ease of access to authority with alot of trust. But if Jupiter is out of sect, in debility or afflicted, particularly by Mars, then it is indicative of scandal and misuse of authority, or there tends to be someone more favored who stands in the way of advancement. Jupiter out of sect here may indicate a lack of trust; that only by seeing and not by faith will things be accomplished.
