Mars: If the lord of the 3rd is Mars or Mars is in the 3rd house, of the sect and dignified or received, then you may have an acerbic wit and communication is sharp and to the point. You are likely to have a sharp intellect and are fond of debate. You may move about too quickly around the neighborhood to take full advantage the opportunities that present themselves, and need to learn to smell the roses. There is a tendency to carefully carve a path directly to what you wish to obtain and not to deviate from it. If afflicted and or out of sect, then there is acrimony amongst your relatives and there is rivalry between your siblings (if any). You may suffer from foot in mouth syndrome, too hasty with your words. This is because the excessively hot and dry nature of Mars is not counteracted by the cool and moist of the night.
