Moon in Eleventh House

MoonMoon: If the Moon is lord of the 11th, or is present and is of the sect, then according to Paulus: "...it will make one who is born of an esteemed, wealthy, and well-off mother". [68] Consequently the native becomes wealthy later on. Along the same line of thought, since the Moon is contrarian in nature, this could mean fluctuations, ups and downs in income (more ups if the Moon is highly dignified). The same could be true with regard to popularity and friendships. Because the Moon is functioning well here in this condition, and because the Moon represents feelings and emotions, it signifys that the native may have an unusual sensitivity to the emotions of others. Intuition is strong and psychic ability may be indicated. Frequently the native prefers private gatherings to large social events as they tend to feel too exposed and vulnerable in large crowds. In extreme cases it represents agoraphobia, the fear of wide open spaces. This is more likely the case when the Moon is debilitated or in affliction. It can also indicate the opposite where the individual needs the accolades of a large audience. Much depends upon the cosmic state of the Moon, assume the latter if the Moon is in a fire sign heating up activity, but water and earth signs will cool the Moon even further, lessening activity, to where they prefer quiet and more intimate friendships.
