Saturn in Eighth House

Saturn: If Saturn is in the 8th house or lord of the 8th, and dignified or received, it may be indicative of a trust fund set aside for the native, or a financial reserve that the native has to qualify for to get, sometimes just by coming of age. If Saturn is in sect without debility then you will be able trust another with your finances with certainty because it is indicative of a careful accountant and administrator, one who is not fooled by unworthy schemes. If Saturn is out of sect here (or debilitated in some way), it indicates waste and losses. According to Paulus: " ...they bring the falling off of ones livelihood, the destruction of things, losses, and affairs that do not turn out well, and sometimes they contribute to a bad death". [30] Modern astrologers tend to say that it forces one to rely on their own resources, because the banks will tend to be strict with credit. Stinginess may result on either side. It can also signify that you may attract a marriage partner who cannot manage finances well and may therefore have nothing to lend (marrying down in other words). It might also indicate a greater than normal chance of being audited by the IRS. If the chart is nocturnal, it can indicate the absence of the father. In some, it creates a heightened fear of death and a sense of morbidity.
