Sun in Third House

Sun: If the lord of the 3rd is the Sun or the Sun is in the 3rd house and dignified or received, then the power of nous is unimpeded and you make a good teacher, able to teach by example. It is hard for you to move around unnoticed. You tend to prefer wide open spaces with as few obstructions in the neighborhood as possible. Your communication may tend to the drammatic or more forceful as you tend to want to impress your point of view. If the Sun is debilitated or afflicted then you struggle to get out your point of view and are often in conflict with others differing opinions. In some cases you become a maverick for a cause or proponent of an idea that is not popular due to the "heretical" nature of this place.
