Sun in Seventh House

Sun: If the Sun is in the 7th or is lord of the 7th and dignified or received, and of the sect, then it signifies those who become wealthy and wise in old age. Modern astrologers often give this as an indication that a powerful individual will have an impact upon your life. This is especially good for business partnerships, where you follow the lead of someone more experienced than yourself. The Sun here can act as enlightenment giving you a deeper understanding of those who you are involved with on a one to one basis, giving greater clarity for negotiating contractual agreements. Sometimes it indicates those who have an eminent father. If it is debilitated or afflicted then a contest of wills often results. Often the relationship with the father is either strained or absent.
