Transiting Mercury conjunct your natal Saturn. You focus on the trees, but miss the forest. Your mind is more disciplined now and concentration is usually improved and your attention is focused on the details. Socially, you may tend to expect the worst from others. Some people will suffer the blues but this is not usually serious as this transit has a short duration unless it is stationary.
This can be a time when you are especially prone towards negative thinking. As Dennis Cole says, the lesson is to dwell on what you want, not on what you don't want, because what you dwell on becomes your reality. Occasionally this transit means saying goodbye to someone who is about to leave for a long time, perhaps forever, and this could make you sad for a time (hence the depressive aspect).

If lord of the 12th, be careful about too many depressive or morbid thoughts now as this position is more likely to cause depression. Also indicates the possibility of a serious error in judgement, because Saturn represents agnoia.
