Transiting Venus square or opposite your natal Mercury. Your mental concentration is probably not up to par and there is the potential that you may have to negotiate an agreement at this time. The danger is that you may end up with the short end of the stick in agreements because your mental guard is down. Communications are very polite, almost too much so, and tends to be rather superficial and lacking in any depth. This may produce uncomfortable or embarrasing social circumstances.

If Mercury is lord of your first house, while there is alot of pleasantness in your communication with others, there is often lack of balance in the give and take. Sometimes this indicates witholding information for the sake of maintaining peace.
If lord of the 2nd, make sure you know the true value of something before you buy or sell. You may end up paying too much or getting too little. Your checking account may not be balanced.
If lord of the 3rd, neighbors and relatives may want more from you than you are willing to give right now. Listen carefully to what they tell you now. Avoid serious conversation for the time being.
If lord of the 4th, avoid making decisions or plans that affect your domestic situation for the time being until you can get a more balanced view of what's happening.
If lord of the 5th, romance may occupy your thoughts during most of this period. It may be hard to concentrate on anything serious. The object of your affection may not be who you idealize them to be, or they may not feel the same way about you. Hold your thoughts to yourself for the time being.
If lord of the 6th, you may find it difficult to focus on details at the office as your mind tends to drift alot more during this period. You will probably procrastinate and lack productivity. Try to get some time off from work during this period.

You may feel that your lawyer isn't doing any work or not representing you adequately, or worse yet, representing the other party's interests in opposition to your own. Sometimes can indicate situations where there is a conflict of interest.
If lord of the 10th, someone may try to put you in a publicly awkward social situation that is somewhat embarssing. It is best to keep a low profile if you can. Others may be trying to use your reputation as a shield against their misconduct or for their own political gain.
If lord of the 11th, you may want to pass up social invitations because of the potential for strings to be attached. New alliances formed now may be unhealthy to your career down the road.
If lord of the 12th, be careful to watch your schedule and keep appointments as this indicates the tendency to forget items on your agenda. Scheduling conflicts are likely.
