Printing Quality / Dpi:

The printing quality control can be accessed by pressing the <F7> key and clicking on the Print tab.  At the top right, you will see a spin edit field labeled "DPI" as shown below:

"DPI" stands for "dots per inch".  The higher the value, the greater the print quality, but also the memory required will be greater and the size of your *.pdf files will increase as you increase the DPI.  Most printers print at 300 dpi, but many have the option to print at a higher quality.  This value should be set to whatever dpi resolution your printer prints at or slightly above.  Setting this significantly below the printers dpi will cause the printing output to appear "grainy".
